Walt is the Literary Manager for Sideshow, where his plays Dante Dies!! (and then things get weird) and Everything Freezes: another winter’s tale were produced. His other plays include The Farm, Paper City Phoenix, True Places and Connor, Issue One. He splits his time between Chicago and Boston, and his work has been produced or developed at such theaters as Chicago Dramatists, Gloucester Stage, Orfeo Group, Boston Playwrights Theatre, The Performance Lab, Bailiwick, The Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage, Infusion Theatre Company, and The Second City of Chicago. He was the recipient of the Kennedy Center’s 2010 Ken Ludwig Scholarship for body of work, a finalist for the 2011 WordBRIDGE Playwrights Lab and an invited writer to the Kennedy Center's 2011 MA Workshop. He holds an MFA in Playwriting from Boston University, and a BA from the University of Virginia.
