Scottie Caldwell

Scottie is a transplant to Chicago from Virginia, where her regional credits include Waiting for Philip Glass at Hollins University's Wendy Wasserstein Symposium, Shakespeare's R&J at the Earl Hamner, Jr. Theatre, A Shadow of Honor at the 2007 Wintergreen Performing Arts Festival, and Lettice and Lovage with Heritage Theatre Festival. In Chicago, she has worked with Sideshow, Polarity Ensemble Theatre, Redmoon Theater, The Ruckus, New Leaf Theatre, Pride Films and Plays, and The Gift Theatre Company, among others. She received her BA from the University of Virginia, where she was awarded the T. Braxton Woody award for French and the William Demoville Pettway Prize for Drama. She has directed for Sideshow, the University of Virginia, and St. Catherine's School. Scottie is often seen at Chicago League of Lady Arm Wrestler events as the ferocious Disney princess-turned-arm wrestler Snow Blight, and she acts, dances, bakes, tries to keep up her French, and is catching up on films she missed in her youth.
