Originally from Overland Park, Kansas, Eric comes to Sideshow after recently completing his second year at Purdue University in the MFA scenic design program. His recent design credits at Purdue include Scapino!, Almost, Maine, and The Shape of Things. Before Purdue, he received his BFA in Theatre from Emporia State University, in Emporia, Kansas where he participated in over 30 productions ranging from acting and directing to stage managing and scenic design. In 2008 he won first place in the American College Theatre Festival Region 3 Design Expo for his design of Cabaret. He has recently relocated to Chicago where he has been interning for scenic designer Todd Rosenthal.
