Ben has traversed the country collecting experiences in nearly every branch of the entertainment industry. After receiving double bachelor's degrees from the University of Rhode Island, Ben traveled south to Florida. There, he spent time as a Master Electrician, Master Carpenter, Stage Manager and Technical Director with various theatre companies from Tallahassee to Fort Myers. Ben then received his MFA in Technical Design & Production Management from Florida State University. During this time, he also spent a summer as a Carpenter with The Utah Shakespearean Festival and three seasons as the Production Safety Coordinator with The Santa Fe Opera. Ben moved even further West to Los Angeles where he spent time as an Art Director for several television series with networks including Discovery, PBS, MTV and VH1. He moved to Chicago in 2010, returning to his initial love: live theatre. Earlier this year, Ben served as Production Manager for Sideshow's Heddatron, for Zombies Attack Chicago's newest production, Zombie Truth Now, and as Technical Director for Remarcable Theatre's Lips Together, Teeth Apart. Ben currently works as the scene shop foreman for Goodman Theatre.
