The Chicago League of Lady Arm Wrestlers kicks off the 2011-2012 with CLLAW XI. Sixteen wrestlers, both returning veterans and a slew of new talent, will compete for the honor to wear the CLLAW sash and crown. See the theatrical fundraising experience Penthouse Magazine calls “one hell of a show!” With an open bar package and tickets available for online pre-sale, CLLAW XI promises to continue being the most surprising and engaging theatrical fundraiser in the city. As always, all proceeds from the madness of CLLAW benefit Sideshow Theatre Company and a partner charity.

Three hour open bar package from 10:00pm – 1:00am for $25. Bar packages are now available for purchase online at www.cllaw.org/tickets. Tickets without bar package purchase are $10 and available the door the night of the event.

About Face Theatre creates exceptional, innovative, and adventurous plays to advance the national dialogue on gender and sexual identity, and to challenge and entertain audiences in Chicago, across the country, and around the world. About Face Youth Theatre was created as a safe space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning young people to tell their stories and create community. The exclusion of queer history and dialogue from schools, and the consistent discrimination and violence suffered by queer youth in our school system are the most immediate problems About Face Youth Theatre addresses with our multi-tiered programming.
Sideshow Theatre Company is an Illinois-based non-profit whose mission is to mine the collective unconscious of the world we live in with limitless curiosity, drawing inspiration from the stories, memories and images we all share to spark new conversation and bring our audience together as adventurers in a communal experience of exploration.
FEATURING:
CLLAW XI features sixteen local ladies who have been in serious training to intimidate, entertain, and generally put on one hell of a show using their lady arm wrestling skills. Returning wrestlers include the reigning CLLAW X champion The Killer Bee, as well as the terrifying Armkansas, the frigid Snow Blight, and the legendary Strawberry Shivcake. Mistress of Ceremonies Rockke L. Squelch will continue her reign over CLLAW with the help of shady referees and special celebrity guest judges.
