Matt most recently performed as Dante in Sideshow's Dante Dies!! (and then things get weird) this summer. His performance work began with the Cherry Tree Players in Lynchburg, Virginia over a decade ago. Since then he's appeared in some 60 productions in Virginia and North Carolina, including two seasons with The Lost Colony, America's oldest and longest running outdoor drama. Matt earned his BA in Drama from the University of Virginia where he received the 2007 William Demoville Petway Prize and appeared in numerous productions including Scapin, As You Like It, A Poster of the Cosmos, and Private Lives, which earned him an Irene Ryan nomination. Last spring he appeared in a staged reading of Third with Jane Alexander at Hollins University. Performance credits also include work with Dog and Pony Theatre Company, Heritage Repertory Theatre, Live Arts, the Earl Hamner, Jr. Theatre, URT, the Lemming Street Players, and Glass Theatre.
