Karie acts, travels, hikes, runs, reads, sews, writes, cooks, sleeps, and discusses. She loves perspective in all shapes and sizes and seeks to draw the interdisciplinary parallels. Karie has been performing and collaborating with theatrical ventures of all kinds throughout the Southeast. Karie holds an MFA from the University of Virginia and a BFA from Northern Kentucky University, with a background and constant intrigue in Children's Theatre, Collaboration, Community Outreach, Arts Education, Political Theatre, and Theatre for Civic Engagement. She was recently seen in Sideshow's Ekphrasis: Cave Walls to Soup Cans, as Hermione in Sideshow's Everything Freezes: another winter's tale and as Rockke L. Squelch, Mistress of Ceremonialisms, in Sideshow's CLLAW (Chicago League of Lady Arm-Wrestlers).
