Karie has been performing and collaborating with theatrical ventures of all shapes and sizes for over fifteen years throughout the Southeast. Most recently she performed in Ubu Roi, Twelfth Night, and Arms and the Man at the University of Virginia and in String of Pearls at Live Arts in Charlottesville, VA. Karie holds a MFA from UVa and a BFA from Northern Kentucky University. While in Kentucky, she performed in the Cincinnati Fringe and with the Wham! Bang! Puppet Thang! at the first ever Cincinnati-Area Puppet Guild Puppet Slam. Her puppet design work was featured in Clear Stage Cincinnati's production of The Return of the King and UVa's production of Oedipus Tyrannus. She also has a background in Children's Theatre, Community Outreach, and Original Work Collaboration. Karie is a member of the Puppeteers of America.
